WTS Winchester pre-64 30-30 carbine TUL/OKC

I've got a very nice pre-64 Winchester model 94 30-30 carbine. The serial is 25223xx. I have a buddy that is into these, he walked me through all of the things to look for. The SN indicates it is a 1962, the stock is "proud" around the receiver which indicates it has not been sanded. All of the screws are correct, and the butt plate has the correct number of diamonds across it indicating it is original. The bore is bright, no rust, and the rifling looks sharp. The bluing is very good, the only major mark is on top of the barrel and the barrel band, looks like a safe rub, took a pic to show it. The only downside on this carbine is that the previous owner dropped it on the butt one day cracking the stock. I am a wood worker, the repair looks like it would be very easy, I just don't want to hurt the value. I will let this go with some ammo for $475obo, really looking for cash but I am a sucker for 1911's.....
