actually none of this would have to go through an FFL as it does not include the lower receiver which is the part that the BATFE labels as a firearm

I've grown rather attached to them and can't bear to let them go.

The upper does not have to go through a FFL. Anypart except for a lower receiver is not considered a weapon. I can ship this item directly to you via USPS or UPS. I had purchased two complete uppers from Bushmaster last month. This one was on backorder and I just received it. I want to sell it to accessorize my 16". By the way, I am in Texas.
