WTS: New, Packaged, Beretta 92 15-round Magazines (AZ)
Folks,
I've got some new, unopened, 15-round magazines for the Beretta 92. These are from CheckMate Industries, and are full USGI spec mags. These are CMI's new magazines that use a dry-film lubricant, versus their older mags that had a parkerized finish. The older mags did not hold up well in the fine sand found in the Middle-East, but these new magazines are excellent quality magazines and perform extremely well. With a simple modification of adding a hole to the front of these magazines, to catch the mag release, these will work with XDs! Here is a picture of what I'm selling (Note: I'm not selling these with the plastic magazine bottom on the top mag in the picture! I added that to show what they look like with the Beretta factory plastic magazine bottom): ![]() I took these two magazines out of their packaging for the photo. In addition, I put a Beretta factory plastic magazine bottom on the top magazine, to show that, for aesthetic purposes, these look exactly like factory mags with this plastic base. However, I am not selling these magazines with that plastic base! The magazine towards the bottom of this picture is exactly what you'll be getting (in the factory packaging, of course). These magazines are $7.99 each, plus shipping ($4.50 for the first magazine, $1.00 for each additional). I've got quite a few, so just let me know how many you want. PM me or email me at david_elm@hotmail.com, let me know how many you want and we'll work out shipping/payment. Last edited by vagabundo94 : 03-21-2007 at 03:55 PM. |

I'm going to pick up a few when pay day rolls around. I bought several cheap o's durring the ban and would like to replace them with something better even though I don't shoot my 92FS very often. Email inbound

However, CheckMate changed the magazines up in late 2004 and went with a dry-film lubricant on them. They work great, now, and after putting them through my own little torture-test, I finally gave in and had to concede that these magazines are perfectly fine. I'm keeping a bunch of them for my own personal stash, and selling off the rest. Between these CheckMates, some Factory, and Mec-Gar mags, I think I'm up to about 130 magazines that I'll be keeping for myself! |

Bump,
David is a great guy to deal with, I picked up several mags from him and highly recommend purchasing from him. The mags work as advertised and other then the stamping and finish I can't tell a difference from my Beretta 92FS factory mags.
