My Motorcycle Project 46 Indian
Some of you may remember that I had found My Barn find a few weeks back A 46 Indian Chief.I was able to spend a little time on it here and there cleaning the tanks wiping down the entire bike with diesel fuel just to see what I was dealing with. Long story short I was able to get a nice blue spark on the spark plus this morning. So after letting the carb soak and getting the brakes working I was able to drive her about 3 miles today. What a rush is all that I can say.

Wow!! If I were close I would volunteer my time to assist. One of my dreams is to restore a classic. I hope you plan on keeping this thread going. That is pure beauty!! Way to go!

Those photos are probably the coolest thing I have seen in quite a while. A refreshing change from the political banter.
Thanks for the post, and keep it going with updates please.

The throttle is on the left side as is the foot clutch. The hand shifter is on the right side a straight inline 3 speed with neutral between first and second. The right hand is the spark advance.Yea you need to be on the ball with this thing.

Wow again, now that puts the sport back into motorcycling...it would take me a week just to coordinate the shifting correctly...incredible. How fun!

Wouldn't it be less work for you to drive to Illinois and kick me in the nuts?
