Tried out the older style SureSights last week
Wow. One of the gun shop owners in my area has a Glock with SureSights installed. I was really impressed with how easy it was to pick up the sight and the target with both eyes open. I could see which way my hand was moving in relation to my target much easier.
If the new tritium sights do the same for my eyes as the older models, I'll be very happy. I can't wait to try them out on the XD.

SoupOrMan,
If you liked the older ones, I think you'll be VERY pleased with the new tritium SureSight! --Leibster

Where did you guys come down on the non-tritium SureSights? I recall you were thinking of doing a plastic insert instead of the screen-printed yellow.
Any pics of the new model? (For some reason I like that better than the tritium.) |

We offer both tritium and non-tritium models. All models now use plastic inserts rather than a coating. You can see pics of a prototype here: Sure Sight - The Newest Idea in Accurate Shooting
The production models shipping in early August will look better, but this should give you an idea of what they'll be like. --Leibster

I can't wait to see how well the new sights work on my XD. Now that I'll have some more regular practice time in addition to USPSA/IPSC nights at the range I can put them through their paces.

Thanks for the updates. I'm looking forward to finally getting mine in August. Please don't disappoint me again with another bad news/good news e-mail.

Yep, it's tough being patient for shipping sometimes, especially when you've had first-hand experience with the system. I've also got a place to learn to use them now before I start using them in Limited and Production IPSC matches. I'll have plenty of practice time now.

Can I use my MGW XD sight pusher to install your sights on my XD? Also, will an MGW Glock sight pusher work on a Glock? Thank you.
