Just had my sights installed beautifully. Even got the originals back in one piece. Took the gun out for a hundred rounds to try it out and my rear sight paint chipped off in the bottom corner already. I didn't have it anywhere near anything harder than a kydex holster (other than flying brass) either.
The sights are awsome, but that yellow paint stuff is total crap.

Just got my 45 compact back...
After my suresights came in for my 45 Compact, I boxed everything up and sent it to Scott at Springer Precision to have the sights installed, a combat carry trigger job done and the barrel ramp polished. I have to say that Scott did a fantastic job on the trigger and had a good turnaround (there was a delay for 3-4 days, but he explained that he was out of town at a convention). There is a small chip in the yellow paint on the right side of the rear sight, which I attribute to having to tap the sights in for installation. I agree with the majority opinion here that the sights look great and seem to line up naturally, but I think further R&D is required on the paint or application thereof. According to pictures posted here and my own experience so far, the paint seems to rub or chip off way too easy. Being that this sort of distorts the triangular image on which the whole concept of the sights is based, this is something that needs to be rectified soon. I will report on any future issues with my sights and contact Chaim for a replacement if need be.
Chaim, they look great, they feel great, they aim naturally. However, I'm not sure they're going to stand up to day-to-day carrying and holster wear. Several people have had issues with paint chipping off during installation, so it would seem that the luminescent paint you are using is not applied thickly enough or is too brittle when dried. Is it some sort of teflon or enamel based paint? |

touch up paint
Guys,
I have found a touch up paint that seems to match the suresight yellow pretty well. I found it at Wally World.... Its in paint pen form found in the crafts section. Krylon Bright Yellow Paint Pen it cost about 4 bucks and seems to match pretty good.... Give it a try

I am intrigued by the Suresight and trust they can get the paint issue resolved. Normal holster wear should not cause the paint to come off.
