Everyone,
Some sights have gone out, and the rest will go out tomorrow. Unfortunately, we picked up the last of the XD front sights Friday, and by the time they were ready to package, we missed the FedEx cutoff time. --Chaim

I'm just kind of curious here? Since you obviously know there is a huge demand for your product, myself included why haven't you taken additional steps to increase your production capacity? It just doesn't make any sense to me as a businessman. You have a far superior product with a huge customer base that WANTS your product and all we get are piddly ass quantities released at sporadic times, and excuses.
I can't even begin to think how many people have gotten fed up with waiting and bought your competitors sights. If your current shop cannot provide the numbers you need to provide your customers with a "In-Stock" situation every time they hit your website. Then find another shop that can pick up the slack. Society today with the advent of the internet is becoming more of a impulse buy society, and as such if they want new sights for their XD have the money and are ready to buy. They click on your site and "crap out of stock" oh well I REALLY want sights for my new XD so I guess I'll have to settle for XYZ brand and maybe I'll buy some SureSights later.. Guess what you have just lost 1 sale and probably more because the vendor that supplied the XYZ Brand now has the opportunity to wow the customer with good customer service and earn repeat business. I guess I could have summed this whole novel up in a couple of sentances... Get more production capacity to meet the desires of your customers. And quit giving excuse after excuse as to why you cannot provide people with the product they have ordered. We really don't care we just want what we order when we order it.

Gunner, these early batches (and thats what this really is, a set of pilot runs) need some customer comment and range time before there is the full expansion into sustained production. At this point, a supplier has been identified from what Liebster has indicated. So I would strongly caution you to reserve judgement on this fledgling business until the first few rounds have been vetted in sustained range use and leibster has had the opportunity to consider marketability for a large range of customers and handguns.

I would suggest SureSight redo their website to make this point (not yet in production) very clear. As a consumer visiting the site and seeing OUT OF STOCK on everything and reading various comments around the web about how long things have been "back-ordered" with empty promises of "they are shipping real soon now", it is quite easy to see how some people, myself included, came to the conclusion that this was a company that I would not put any trust in or do business with. In the long run, that opinion may very well change. I think they should just be more up-front about what their current production capacities are.

Chaim,
Thanks for the e-mail that my sights have been shipped. While it has been a while that they were orderd and the original shipping date was changed, I am looking forward to getting this product on my XD9SC! Being a small business owner myself, i understand the pitfalls that can come up and cause unforeseen problems. Please know that i fully appreciate your efforts and will gladly refer business to your company and I will continue to do business with a struggling small business owner with the hope that he can make is dream of a going business concern a reality! Again, Thanks for what i know will be a great product, and for your continued efforts to get them into your clients hands. Chef Dennis |

Surprisingly I just ordered a set last night and I received an email this morning that my order has been shipped. I thought this batch was all sold out so I was simply preordering my set. but I guess there must have been some extras that werent sold out of this batch. Cant wait to get mine..
Everyone else who received their shipped emails was there a tracking number in that email. This is all my email said. "Thank you again for your recent purchase at our online store. We have shipped your product via UPS and you should be receiving it shortly. The tracking information for your order is: Tracking Number: Shipped To track your shipment, please go to: http://wwwapps.ups.com/ietracking/tracking.cgi?tracknum=Shipped If you have any problems with that link, you can manually enter your tracking number by visiting this page: http://www.ups.com/tracking/tracking.html Please contact us immediately if you have any questions regarding your order.
