Got email stating credit is being issued to my card. I should have requested 2 months interest on my $$$. Anybody that wants to let me have 2 months of interest on your money, please send it to me and I will send your $ back when you want it. I will keep all the interest. Great business model. Please send me PM for contact info for transfers.

Dude, get over yourself. I pay for season football tickets for a major big 10 college football program 8 months in advance and they bill my CC at the time of the order, and it is a hugh amount more then the cost of 3 sets of sights. Common practice is for businesses to use your money.

As for giving you 2 months interest, LOL, if the interest on the price paid for 3 sets of sights is going to make a difference in your finanical portfoilio, i'll send you a check myself, once you send be your brokers spread she showing your loss on this amount. LOL!

Sure i want my sights, I started this thread, but I also understand the pitfalls of small business, give the guy a break.

As for calling his business practices fraudulet, You are lucky it is him and not be, you wouldn't hear a word from me, but it would cost you awhole lot just to defend your statement in court. Sure i might loose, but you would be paying your own legal expenses!!

Have a good day Whiner!!

Everyone,

I would like to clarify something, due to a PM I received by a viewer of this thread.

That viewer expressed concern over my threat to ban XD45X2 from this forum. He explained that "Threatening to ban forum members for voicing valid opinions is against what most of us believe in". Below is a paraphrasing of my reply.

I couldn't agree more. What XD45X2 was doing was voicing an INvalid opinion. Specifically, that I had a business model that relied on intentionally fraudulent business practices (As XD45X2 wrote, in mock reference to SureSight (bold emphasis added to original text by me.):

That is what I objected to, as it is a completely invalid attack on my personal character.

I welcome criticism, and even acknowledge that it is sometimes well-deserved. But while I may make mistakes, I don't mislead people deliberately. I interpreted that as a personal attack (as I believe it was), and therefore threatened to ban him if that behavior continued.

XDAZ and ChefDennis, and everyone else who wrote to me and/or is sticking it out through this delay--thanks for your support, guys!

Moderated forums can be closed to anyone at anytime for any reason the owner of the forum or moderator of the forum deems necessary. You bust on me personally or my business in my forum, you ain't gettin a warning, you are gone period. No matter what any other user of the forum my think.

As for this situation, the person was out of line, and offensive, close to slandering the owner and his business. Personal opinions are just that personal, you post them in public, you then open yourself to gettin your chops busted.

Sure i want my sights! But as i said, as the owner of several small businesses muself, i totally understand un foreseen problems that can cause delays. Would better communication have helped in this situation, sure! And the powers to be have learned from that and seem to be making very effort to do just that.

This is a product that I want, so I'll stick it out and base my impressions of the product on just that, the product. customer service can have issues, the owner of the product os maing every effort to do the right thing. Thats all I will ever ask for.

Man, some of you guys haven't been around the gun industry long enough to understand production delays. We see this all the time with smaller businesses. Look at C-Products 9mm AR mags, or Jet Suppressors, or the Shrike from Ares! Sometimes production cant be ramped up fast enough to meet the demand, especially on new products. I've pre-ordered products and paid for them in advance and sometimes it takes months to get them. You want quality, you pay for quality, you WAIT for quality. I have a PSG1 clone being built that has been at the 'smiths for a year. Am I a little peeved, sure. But I will wait cuz I know it will be top of the line. I do not call him up or post on forums like some petulent, whiney 6 year old.
Rant off.

Shipping delays, wrong products shipped, labor shortages, wrong order shipped, etc, etc......

Cut him some slack and move on. You have your new sights so be happy.

God Bless.

My dad has always been a fan of people telling them "I wish I didn't have to a real job". He works twice as hard for half the money he would have made if he had stayed in the insurance industry. Actually come to think of it way less than half the money!

In my very short experience taking the reins I have been instilled with the key to running a small business is communication. When you screw something up You've got to let the customer know what happened and when they will get their product. It sure is a learning experience.

P.S. I love the idea of the Suresights. Someday I'll be able to afford a set to try!
