Got my SureSight in last week, went to a local smith on Friday and Just came back home with them today. They look great. I did some dry firing before I am off to work and I'll be at the range tomorrow morning.

Was this from the pre-order email that was sent out recently? Also, if it was did you get a shipping email from Suresight. I pre-ordered and am still waiting on mine.

This is not a pre-order. What had happen was that a few months back I order the sights and was considering how to get the sights install. Either I was going to send it out to AJames and also have him Duracoat the slide also or find a local smith to do the job. I finally decided to have it done locally. When I took my sight to get them install, the smith told me that the sights were for a Glock

. They had sent my the wrong sights. I gave SureSight a call for an exchanged. It took them about 3 weeks to send me the XD sights. I knew that they had a back-order problem so I allow for the delay. They must have them in now, otherwise I might still be waiting for them.

I did get a chance to try them out at the range today. At first, I was shooting low. After an adjustment to my sight picture I start hitting center mass. There is a learning curve--just another excuse to be back at the range tomorrow. I do have a USPSA match this weekend, maybe I need to go to range the next day also (hmmm another excuse?)
