Are Suresights taller than XD factory sights?

The reason I ask is that I am considering them for use with my XD 9 and a silencer. I need a sight that is not only combat useful, but just a bit taller than the factory sights.......

GaLEO,

At it's highest point, the SureSight front sight stands about .250" over the surface of the slide.

Hope that helps,

lostone1413,

I have heard only one complaint, specifically with the Sub-Compact XD and a Blackhawk SERPA holster. Standard and Tactical XDs work fine in the SERPA, and I have not yet had the chance to verify this claim about the Sub-Compact.

I can say that I designed this sight for carry, and it will fit just about any holster on the market. especially if it has a sight channel.

All the best,

--Chaim
