Thumbs up First time shooting suresights

Just shot my suresights on my XD45T for the first time today. Man, they are awesome. I've seen how others claim to have a learning curve with them, but my learning curve was about 20 rounds. By the third mag, I was shooting as well with my suresights as I have ever been able to shoot with the stock sights. My wife improved dramatically. The only negative was my wife's friend seemed to have a hard time with them. She only shot a couple of mags though, and she seemed to improve throughout. My double taps are faster and way more accurate. Getting a sight picture is just faster and easier than with the stock sights. If I were in a situation where I thought I needed to use it to defend myself, I definetly feel safer with these sights. No wonder they are sold out. I just hope they have more by the time I get my next pistol.

Yeah, thanks again. I can see how someone who has been shooting the 3 dot type sights for a long time could have trouble adjusting. I've only been shooting 3 dot for a year, and don't get the chance to shoot as much as I'd like. Aside from that, I have an eye stigmatism, am far sighted and have pretty bad depth perception. Sorry they didn't work out for you.
