Evidently, the trick is...

...to have a lot of cash.

I wish I'd known, before I wasted my money on this:

http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpag...eitemid=163458

I'm sure the latter is a good sight tool, but not for the XD pistols.

No need

I do not have to worry about removing them .I sent my gun out to have them put on . I will enjoy them even more knowing they are sold out .

Another a**

As always there has to be another smart a** that has nothing to add but b/s . Funny how on the internet people grow a set . But to see them in person they would have nothing to say .

I swear on my goldfish's grave, nothing caused me more aggravation over my 2 weeks leave than trying to swap sights on my wife's XD. After taking a Dremel to the front sight, I gave up and took the whole thing to a smith the next day. For 20 bucks, they did the job for me.

I cannot tell you enough...it wasn't worth it for me. I don't know you, but I suspect you would rather shell out 20 bucks.

My gunsmith ended up having to cut the front site off my XD45 Compact to get it off.

Rumor has it they are installed with a hydrolic press at the factory.
