Here are the Pics. Best I could do. It was kinda hard getting it to focus, especially with the bright yellow. Range reports will follow I promise!

They do glow! I was wondering how effective they would be in that respect and they looked really good.
Going to the range today, so I will update later.

Range Report
Well, let's just say they work. It did take a little time to adjust to a completely different sight picture, but once I did -WOW. They helped out tremendously. The range I went to only allows you to shoot at 50 ft, so grouping, at least for me were rather large (again me, not the gun or sites), however the sights were easy to pick up, FAST, and accurate. I love them. My follow ups were a lot quicker and had noticeably less tension (from trying to think through the process of lining up and leveling off the 3 dots).
Also, the guy next to me had a *LOCK w/ a laser and I was much more precise and faster than he was. He even asked me to give him some hints . As if I were a really good shot!. I was feeling good. That has never happened before, in fact I'm usually the one doing the asking. Now my only concern is whether or not I will ever be happy with my guns they don't make Sure Sight for. They also really helped with my cross dominant eye situation as well. These are large enough that eye sight is really irrelevant. They can be seen and used very well with my bad eye (right) due to their brightness as well as sight picture. Now I can shoot much more naturally, the way my body wants to. Everyone who see's them at first sheepishly grins, as if "Wow, another newbie rip off". After they see them in action or even try them out, their expression changes. They start to nod as if, "I can't explain why, but they are starting to make sense". They are probably not for everyone, but they sure are for me.

Good to hear. Now, if I could just find someone who lived in my area and had 'em, I could try before I buy... (hint, hint)
(I am in Allegheny Co. area in western PA, PM me if you are feeling generous)

Great report...thanks! I've been thinking about getting the sights and you helped me make up my mind. I'll be ordering them soon.

Mine are in the mail. I just bought the XD9SC a week or so ago and I've only fired about 20rds through it. That brings me to about 20rds total that I've ever fired through any pistol larger than a .22lr. I was surprised at how bad I was at hitting the target
Well, I've ordered the Suresights in hopes that they will help this beginner out. Posts like your range report, nsnate02, only encourage me more that I've made the right decision. Last edited by dhaizli; 02-20-2007 at 06:28 PM. |
