Philman, thank you for the answers.
TN-popo, I'm typically suspicious of anything. I'm going to guess your handle indicates what you do for a living, so you'll know what I mean when I say it's my job to be suspicious. I flat-out don't like the "info-blitz" technique he's employing, but I like the idea behind it. Again, after reading through the entire website, I felt like it was, for lack of a better term, trying to fast-talk in print. I like the picture examples, and I like the concept, but a lot of things work well, in theory. I just don't want to (read:can't) spend $90 for sights, plus how ever much it would cost to get them installed, and then uninstalled, and then try to find someone to buy them. Though I'm sure XD-D.C.'s right, and I wouldn't have any problems selling them to someone here. However, if they ARE good, I want to know. The whole reason I ended up browsing Leibster's site in the first place was because of a link in another thread here, and I've noticed I'd been having a hard time seeing the stock sights last trip. Then again, staring into the freezing wind trying to aim for four hours might have something to do with that. .... And actually, I may have found an answer to my own skepticism. Leibster, if you haven't checked your PM's by the time you've read this, please do so. And as far as you saying I have an "agenda", you make me sound like a lib... Did I really make you that upset with the OP? AIFormula, pass me a PM when you post that range report. Edit: Typing at 5 in the morning while you're at work = many typos... abno isn't alone, the tone on the website does sound like fast talk you see on the infomercials, BUT! but, its fine the way it is, just gotta be less sensitive to tone. and read the information provided. i would like to see a video clip or something in the first person. i think it would be neat and help with skepticism.
leibster, your site is fine the way it is no need to change it. also, kudos for the design of a great product (don't have it) but the concept is solid. heres to you from a future customer |

Thanks, Puma85.
It's funny that some people find "too much information" there. I felt like I didn't put in enough! For example, I consulted with the one of the world's foremost recognized experts in shape and object recognition during the development of this sight. It cost me a good chunk of change, but I wanted to be sure that my ideas were sound. And he validated them for me. I think that's an interesting tidbit, but I didn't find a convenient way to work it into the the text of the home page... Anyhow, I'm glad our website gets our point across. Thanks again, --Leibster

Leibster, you have another PM. Also, I'll talk to one of my friends about possibly breaking out Photoshop, or maybe even Auto-CAD. She's a bit better with both than I am. I kind of like the potential for what I've come up with, but I'll need to gather some information first...
And by all means, if anyone has anything to say to answer my questions, or has any experience using these sights, let us know. |

In fact, you want the money up front? That's how confident I am in Chaims sights. I could trust my life to those sights any given day that I am on duty.

Ordered mine. I'll certainly be able to give a comparison. I've had stock, Tru-glows, Big Dot and Dawsons on my XD .45 so far. Hopefully these will be the last sights I need to buy (for this pistol at least!)

That's a pretty big boast, Dualcert....
Let me call Nuckol's and find out what the cost on a site replacement is... Err, after I find my phone. And probably charge it... |
