I thought it got here today.........
I returned home today to find a FEDEX Ground package at my door, I picked it up & when I got inside I noticed the package had been opened before. I looked inside to find just the packing slip without the sights!!! First of all I'm pretty ticked that FEDEX leaves the package at the doors when no is home to accept it. Now this is a problem for me, I needed them for my XD45, but now I have to do all of this paper work to find out if FEDEX will pay for them so I can get another set. Has anyone else had these problems before?

184SFS,
Sorry for your troubles. I'm sending you another set tomorrow so you'll have something to use while we work this out with FedEx. --Chaim

Like we say in Hebrew, "Refuah Sheleimah!", (which means a complete and speedy recovery!)
Feel good, --Chaim

My mouth-breather UPS guy doesn't even knock. He just drops the package at the door and runs off. Fortunately, he also comes at the end of his shift, so I'm almost always home.

Here is the usual UPS/FedEx drill at my place. I live in a 300 unit aparmtne complex. We are about the last stop on both of their runs. They fill out the "You didn't answer so we left it at the manager's office" slips for everyone in our complex before they arrive. They drop off all the packages at the front office and then run through the complex slapping the notices on everyone's doors. I actually snagged one as he was slapping a notice on my door. I said I would be glad to take my package. He just looked at me sheepishly and said the package was already dropped off at the manager's office which, oh by the way, was now closed for the day.
Very impressive customer service.
