This may be a stupid question, but I have not been able to find the answer anywhere. Does the "glow-in-the-dark" paint have a half life like tritium? or will it always glow as long as it is charged with some kind of light? I seem to remember that my glow in the dark stickers would lose their effectiveness, but I was 5 years old so my memory is a little fuzzy. I am sure that the suresight paint is a little more advanced but...Anyways, silly question.

toren25333,
The term "half life" refers to radioactive substances, such as tritium. Our glowing coating does not have a half-life, since it's not radioactive. While it's not a replacement for tritium--you still have to charge it to get it to glow--it will certainly outlive tritium. It can be recharged hundreds of thousands of times. Hope that helps, --Chaim

Thanks for the correction Leibster. Glow in the dark does not have a "half life" but it does degrade over time.

Does that mean they are back in Stock
Guys,
I've been reading the various threads on sights as i want to get a new set for my 357 SIG HS2000. Suresights look like the best way to go for me. At first i wanted to get an adjustable sight just like the one on my HK USP Elite but after having a good read i want to go with the Suresight. My problem is that I live in Sydney, Australia and I can't find anywhere that sells them in Australia. Not a problem, because in a couple of weeks I'm heading Stateside for business. Question is, will they be back in stock by the 7th May? Australia has ridiculously tight firearms restrictions, but the this case new rules have come into force by the US State Department stating that firearms components cannot be exported thus I have to pick up the sights in person. Does anyone know if they will have stock to send to my Company HQ in Indy by 7th May? |

HighlanderXD,
I'm just getting back to the forums after being away for a while. Just making sure--you're the same guy with whom I had an email exchange about this, right? If not, please let me know, and I'll get in touch with you. --Chaim
