New to Steel Challenge
I have several questions about Steel Challenge:
1. We can use rimfire right? 2. Anyone know of a good competition holster for a Mark II? 3. Any special rules that would set SC apart from USPSA?

Unless you've got a custom Kydex holster guy near you, you're probably going to wind up with a generic nylon or leather holster. I went through the same search for my Buckmark and came up empty.
The good news is that you start from "low ready" when shooting rimfire in a Steel Challenge match. You just need a holster that will hold it, not one that you can draw from. If you can't find a holster, see if you're allowed to use a pouch (gun rug?). Back to the custom Kydex idea: it's supposed to be reasonably easy to make your own holster, using a heat gun or an oven, rivets or chicago screws, and, of course, a sheet of Kydex. All are available on line from Knifekits.com or something like that. I'd guess it'll cost $25 for the Kydex, screws, and a tek-lock belt clip.

Most people in steel challenge use a gun pouch to carry Rimfire guns up to the line.

The Rimfire event doesn't use a holster. You start from the USPSA/IPSC Low-Ready position.

Steel Challenge is a completely different sport than uspsa. The SC stages are all published and at the SC and US Steel Nationals, the stages are setup with tape measures and a transom to insure they are exact. Each stage is shot 5 times and there is no movement except for one stage, where you must move and it is only shot 4 times. USPSA, on the other hand, is a movement based sport which is always different.
