Question 3 Gun Shooters!!

I need your input on the speed shotgun round holders. Which are the best? I have used a couple on loan and failed to get the manufactures of them. Here's what I know, I want the bigger ones and they should be the ones that have those metal feeders that keep the rounds from falling out when running. Any and all input will help. Thanks!

Edit: I want to know which ones are the Best(Most Expensive) and which are the worst(Cheapest)

i personally don't like or use the speed style loaders with the ramp. I use a 4 shot side saddle in combination with a 25 round belt worn mid chest.

when re-loading i roll the gun upside down and crank em in. I have also used a neoprene wrist type saddle that went on my gun holding hand and was done the same way (roll the gun then reload).

maybe its 2 or 3 second slower but i find it relates more to practical type usage (SHTF, riot, etc) then those speed ones.

I wear two of these on my belt:

California Competition Works Four-Shell Tactical Stripper: Magazines and Speedloaders

And one of these on my right forearm:

Dillon Precision: Reloaders, Reloading Equipment, Bullet Reloading, Bullet Reloaders

That gives me twenty round to reload to and then the 9 in the gun. I also have an elastic stock cuff that holds 5 more rds but those are only used if things have gone very badly in a stage.

I was using a pump shotgun and this winter switched over to a semi-auto so I might add a side saddle but I am not sure I want that extra weight on my gun.

hope that helps

I use a 50 round belt that I wear diagonal across my chest that I reload from.
I also have a 5 shot elastic band around the stock that I load from first before pulling from the belt. .

Buy the best get the progressive machine and tool ones. You can get them in 4 or 6 round versions. There is a reason AMU guys are using them.

+1 except the arm carrier is on the left forearm. I strong side reload.

My theory is to have different loads in different places. Such as birdshot on the belt and slugs on the arm. Helps prevent stuffing the wrong thing in at the wrong time.
