SureSight & ATS sight not Production legal

FYI

SureSight & ATS (Advantage Tactical Sights) or the other "triangle" sights are not legal for IPSC/USPSA Production Divsion per NROI Director John Amidon (per Front Sight - March/April 2008 )

Does this also include the Steyr factory sights on the m-series pistols? Or is this considered a different class altogether? (Please excuse my ignorance Scott, I'm not versed in the rituals of competitive shooting)

Stock sights are legal if the gun is production legal.

The Steyr sights are considered notch-and-post sights despite how they point inward.
