Looks like both of the shooters perfer the
hi-viz front sight/site.

They both shot Production division with M&P45s.

Doug also shot it in Limited 10.

I find the factory front sight a tad too thick. I wonder if Id get more daylight between the sights with that FO front sight.

I just ordered the HiViz over-molded FO front sight and 10-8 Performance plain, serrated rear for my M&P 9mm.

Normally (on my XDs) I have Dawson FO sights (red front, green rear), but this time I went for a green front and plain rear... I guess I'll see how it works out for me.

Just Googled those, they look sweet. can you confirm its narrower than the factory front sight?

I have not swapped my front out for a FO yet. Getting the old one out has proven as difficult as the XD front sight, however it is sitting in the bag on my bench.

Most of the Dawson FO have space around them in the sight picture.
