I started shooting USPSA in Production division last year with my stock XD45 service model. I have only put on grip tape. No I'm not as fast as other Production shooters but I get enjoyment and practical practice out of using the pistol that I carry with me for self defense.

Oh yes indeed knight-light, it does NOT matter how fast I am, but I do strive to improve myself in everything I do everytime I do it. And it only matters what you put ON your gun if you are "class-conscious", ha ha he he. The enjoyment is the only reason I do it, really. Just like hunting, I don't always get to kill something, but all that goes along with it really makes it worth my effort.
