Books/videos on shooting suggestions please.

Now that I am finaly back into shooting my handguns on a permenent and serious basis, I could certainly use a good book that explains proper shooting form as well as a good CD/video on same. The type(s) of shooting I am most intersted at this time are both competative as well as defensive in clasification.

I know I should attend a school that teaches actual personal defencive shooting, and cercomstances in the future willing, I shall. But for right now and for the immediate future that is not possable, so I will have to for now, simply rely on self instruction from books or CD/vidoes that are recammended to me here. I own both XDs and revolvers.

Thanks to anyone who helps me out on this important request for info.
Arthur.

Double Alpha Academy - Promoting Excellence in IPSC Shooting
Find the DVD titled 3GM this is the best Competition training DVD found.

Matt Burkett DVDs are also very good although he can be a bit long winded at times.

The Thunder Ranch DVDs are by far some of the best on the market for Tactical/Defensive training.

The first one I read was:

"Armed Response" - David Kenik

I also read these and had good information:
Surgical Speed Shooting: How To Achieve High-Speed Marksmanship In A Gunfight" - Andy Stanford

"Defensive Shooting For Real-Life Encounters: A Critical Look At Current Training Methods" - Ralph Mroz

I know some people who are fans of some of Enos' stuff.

Just google Brian Enos and you should get straight to his site.
