Just when I had an awesome day going, I hit the stage with 2..count them..2 Texas Stars, one right in front of the other.

That's not all.

The stars had heavy weights hung on them and were propped up with prop rods which were pulled off when you hit a popper and it fell on the ropes which activated the stars...immediately getting them spinning.......fast......in opposite directions.

It sucked

I HATE Texas stars. It's not like you can ever practice for the friggin' things.......

I think the Oregon star was designed by ammo manufacturers.

I actually like the Texas Star at our club.

It spins in a very predictable fashion and if you learn the proper sequence it is very easy to shoot clean and fast. Aim for the top right first and you can usually catch 3 in the same place with 3 quick shots.

The 3rd guy in this video shoots them in the same order I do.
