Is a scope mount made for the XD? How would it go on? Does this make any sense?

I have a scope mounted to my MKII. Any thoughts?

When I was younger (10ish) my Dad put a Cmore on a glock for me. Next time I'm home I'll check out how he moutned it. I bet that thing could be modified to work on an XD.

The capacity of an XD might be a problem for an open gun. But I wonder.. I remember during the Clinton era after they banned real mags my Dad would weld a couple together for his open gun.

Heck XD mags are cheap enough I may buy a couple and let him work his magic just so I can see how many rounds a 170mm XD will hold.

Hey Scott, how do you think an XD would hold up to a 9mm Major?

We have some ideas

I think it will hold up better than a Glock.

Frame mounted sights are harder with the slop in the frame and slide. I do have some prototype parts I'm testing for some new XD variations, but our shop is full. I'm getting some new guys up to speed in the shop, so I can do some of the cool stuff once we get ahead of the curve again.

You sir are a genius .

I've been wanting to turn my XD into an open guy for a while lol.. Just not entirely sure it'd be worth the work/money.
