my TV claims XD is a Stock Service Pistol

Just got done watching "Sighting In" on OLN. The episode was dedicated to getting started with IDPA and they showed the XD as a gun used in the Stock Service Pistol category. I thought that it was ESP. Is the show wrong or is the XD SSP?

They also placed stock 1911s in the wrong class and customized ones in CDP. Either Scoutten or the producers/writers didn't know the rules or I have been shooting in the wrong classes for years.

I thought I saw on this sight recently that they had changed the xd to the stock class. I could be wrong but I know I read it somewhere.

The XD is definitely ESP, due to the single action trigger.
