XDSC w/Magazine/sleeve - Legal?

Can you shoot production in IPSC/USPSA with an XDSC gun using the larger capacity magazine that has the sleeve...if you load the magazine with 10 rds only?

I looked at the rules and they state you can't alter the mag well, you can't make aftermarket alterations, and the grip modifications can't alter the gun's profile. But as far as I know, the mag w/sleeve is an OEM item. And while it extends the grip, it doesn't change the shape of the grip.

Anyone know the answer?

Also, can you use Pearce grip extensions on a 10 rd mag?

You could buy some 10 rounders and put the sleeves on there. I'm pretty sure Pistol Gear sells them. I know they have the full capacity mags and the sleeves as I have ordered several of each from there. That way the max capacity would be 10 rounds, and you'd have the full grip.

My thought is that I'd like the large capacity mags in case the laws change. But I also want to have them to support IPSC.

The mag sleeves should be OK. The pearce grip extensions would not.
