Today marks a day in history. A group of us has decided to kick of a friendly, not overly serious competition shooting league.

The idea is that during each shoot, we all download and print the same target and shoot according to the rules of the shoot. Then post a picture of your target(s) and there's a winner who receives bragging rights.

Ok, first round of the XDtalk Competition League:

Open Saturday 7/7/2007 (nice date) through Saturday 7/14/2007

Center fire Handguns only. Off-hand shooting, 10 yards, 10 rounds per target. Slow fire, not timed. Shoot three (3) targets and pick the highest scoring target for submission. Take a digital picture and post it in this thread with your score. Bragging rights only. Here's a PDF of the target. No scopes, red dots - only open sights, TFOs etc are acceptable.

Submit targets only. Once the deadline has passed, then we'll discuss the targets, winner, etc.

If necessary, I might from time to time bump this thread to keep it at the top of the list so people know it's here. Just a suggestion. This is the first one and things should get smoother and more efficient from here on out.

I think what we'll do until people get the hang of this is just let people post here and chat about it and then we'll just get things smooth out for posting results only in the future until the deadline has passed.

Off hand refers to, I believe, no rest. Unsupported.

2 hands on the gun, normal shooting. Just no resting the gun on a bench, post, whatever.
