300 draw and fire drills

Probably not 300 but...

I took it back to basics today, I slowed my butt down and did a bunch of draw and fires today off and on. I got the grip down awhile ago but at speed I would improperly grip the gun and would have crappy groups and my DT were spread out. Today I got my muscle memory down to where I grip the gun high with my right hand and bring the gun to center mass and my left hand bent forward locks on the gun right where the slide and frame meet and then straight out. I front sight the X I had placed on the wall, and squeeze the trigger. No flinching. All as fast as I can. Tomorrow after setting up the match I am gonna practice on the other range with some live rounds and see how well I do. Then hopefully on Sunday at the match I can start getting my A$$ out of D Class.

It's all about the basics. Sounds like you have the right idea about progression. Good Luck at the MatchMaster comp. Let us know the results.
