XD in Competition - Ohio

Ok, inherent accuracy out of a factory pistol aside... Does anyone know who I need to talk to in Ohio to find matches, competitions, and gun clubs? Note: I live in West Central Ohio. Cleveland and Columbus are too far. Cincy is doable.

Well, I used to shoot IPSC/USPSA with the Fulton County Gun Club, but if Columbus is too far, west of Toledo by about 20 miles would definitely be too far for you. Maybe go to the USPSA website and see if they have a local club listing for you or something?

I shoot USPSA in Circleville. Their website has not been updated for years, but you can find the competition links you need here: http://www.k8nd.com/pcsiipsc.htm

Big Darby Creek shooting range had IDPA competition last weekend and another one in about 3 weeks. It's just outside West Jefferson

Miamisburg Sportsman Club has regular club matches on Monday nights and once a month on weekends. There are also monthly weekend matches at Miami University's oxford range, and Miami Rifle and Pistol in Milford. There are a couple other members on here that shoot them regularly and will have links for schedules. These are all USPSA style matches. In Wilmington there is an IDPA chapter and they have some type of match almost every weekend. Also at Sim Trainer in Moraine, they have a Tuesday night league that is IDPA/tactically oriented. I have heard since they went to this style match, attendance has dropped off as the round counts have decreased.

nice hooz, but you might want to proofread the forums under the competition section. I was going to stop by there yesterday and check it out after I met w/ Oldmantod, but my bike broke down and I spent the rest of the day tracking down and replacing a clutch cable.
