Houston Area Trainer - Brian Hoffner?

Has anyone here trained with a gentleman out of Houston named Brian Hoffner? He made a holster for me many years ago, and seemed nice enough, but that doesn’t mean he is a good trainer. I think I have a close friend and his son, who are unconsciously incompetent, talked into taking a class of some sort. Hoffner is close with reasonable prices. I am looking for someone that doesn’t have an ego that needs polishing, but does know what he is doing. I have been to a number of the better schools, so this would serve as sort of refresher for me. I am plotting against my friend and his son; first a good beginner's class, then I get them hooked on IDPA, and finally on to a more advanced class. Ha Ha Ha Ho Ho Ho!

I like sharing my addictions : )

Thanks - TEX

I have only talked on him on the phone. Seems like an OK guy. Here is the link to his site. I think he is qualified and very experienced. Click on his credentials.
