This has really been the best weekend ever. made master friday night and won the three gun today. Waiting on Alaskapopo for the exact numbers but i think i took first in Rifle and Pistol and a very close 2nd in shotgun and i think i took all the multi gun events. a very well designed stage lots of fun. now if we could just get sponsered events.

I just took 14th overall and 1st in my class yesterday.

I need to buy shotgun belt strips and work on reloading though.

thats why i took third at our last one. my shotgun reload was horrible. i did alot of practicing. and i put a cheap uncle mike saddle on it works pretty good.

I'll ask again... as I like hearing, seeing, talking about sports... what guns did you compete with. The G17 again for pistol?

i used my winchester defender, my dpms M4, and the glock 17.

my defender is bone stock except for a duracoat finish. the glock has a wolff competition spring pack and my MR has way to many mods to list. the best ones tho are the extended latch for my charging handle, the eo tech and my RRA 2 stage national match trigger group.

Indy did win. I lost the score sheets but his overall was something like 307 while Richards was 356 and mine was 364 if I remember correctly. Unfortunately it was a very small turnout. It was Indy, Me, Richard, two of my officers showed up for part of the match but did not finish due to calls. We also had another local shooting and Richards wife.

I hope to have another 3 gun competition in 4 to 6 weeks. But the lack of turn out is a bit discouraging. I do own Indy and Richard thanks for showing up though.

Indy did pretty well at my first three gun as well with a 3rd place finish overall out of 15 or so shooters. He is fast with his rifle and with his pistol.

I am hoping I can the Kenai club into hosting a three gun and I don't mind doing all the work on stage design. But if we could have their facilities and a formalized USPSA three gun match we might get more people.

For Indy and Richard and all other Alaskans we are doing an IDPA match this weekend with a shotgun side match. Sunday 930 set up 1000 am hammer down.

Oh ok. I understand if you don't want to show when you have a match close. But this one is Scotts match so I will be attending and I don't have to use leave. If I go to Palmer I will have to use leave. I do plan on being at the USPSA 4 stage classifer match in Kenai on the 23rd.
