Bullseye and other precission type compitions.....
Anybody ever use their XD in Bullseye compition.....?
Probably not as Bullseye sort of requires a gun with adjustible sights, but I have seen guys using 1911's with combat sights for this type of shooting compition. I haven't even fired my new XD-9 at paper yet, I've been having so much fun shooting steel, and I really should bench rest it to see exactly where my POA/POI is on this gun. I shoot 2 gun Bullseye with Smith & Wesson revolvers, for rimfire I use a 6" 617, and for center fire I use a 6" 686. I'm seriously thinking about shooting one of these matches with my 4" XD-9 just to see how I do with it.... First I need to point it at some paper so I can see where my bullets are going....

My 9mm Tactical isn't nearly accurate enough for me to want to try it in any sort of Bullseye competition. Not sure if I'm accurate enough either, but my 1911 shoots much much smaller groups than my XD does. Will be sending it to BarSto tomorrow to see if they can fix that.
