Quick questions about IPSC & adjustable rear sights

I've read that in IPSC sights and grip tape were about the only external mods you can make and still shoot production... now what about adjustable rear sights?

I was interested in putting these on the XD-9. Am I good to go or will I get bumped up to another category?

http://www.topgunsupply.com/SPR-Sigh...XD-pr-368.html

I tried the serach and no specific answers to the adjustable rear sights.

Thanks in advance and as always cheers,

Any "Notch and Post" type sights are fine.
Those will be fine, but you might want to consider a fiber optic front sight, instead of that one. Fiber is much easier to pick up quickly with your eyes.

Fiber optic is definitely the way to go. I bought a Red FO front directly from Dawson for my Kimber, but I guess they sent me the wrong size because it was WAAAAYYYY too big. I figured I was out $40, but I called them up and BAM, refund! Great customer service from Dawson.
