Lugging Gear at 3 Gun

What do you guys lug your stuff in?

I saw a bunch of people with wheeled hand trucks and such but some of them had really small wheels.

It's kind of dusty with the clay dirt here in SC and hot as hell so lugging a hard case and fullsize range bag is a pain.

That's what I have seen quite a few people using. Some folks build their own using one of those 3-wheel jogging strollers.

At the only outdoor match I've attended, several people had something like this wagon. Northern Tool has them too. I guess it's probably a hassle getting it in and out of the car, but it sure looks like it would be nice to have. You could go so far as to mount an umbrella to one, perhaps a permanent stadium seat, the list goes on...

At a match I went to last year people had homemade carts and most had the small lawnmower wheels . This one guy had a jogging stroller. He had the easiest time that day.

I thought that price looked kind of steep at $219, But then I looked around for Jogging Strollers, Cheapest one at Walmart is $159, then you still have to modify it with some gun holders ect....

Unless you can get a jogging stroller cheap at a yard sale you are probably better off buying one of those carts.

I just bring one or two of my kids along as my gun bearers.

A boat "Dock Cart" would work pretty well.

Yeah, you did the same math I did. My first reaction to the price was "No way in hell" but the more I started adding things up, it made sense. I don't have one yet and don't shoot 3 gun yet... but who knows what the future might bring.

The guy using one of those carts at the last USPSA match had his loaded up with ammo, supplies, cooler, etc. Seemed really handy at the time.

The baby stroller cart as linked above is about the slickest you can get. Plenty enough room for ammo, most people put their inner bag from their Shooter's Connection bag inside of it.

Once you strap in your two guns, they're not going to move no matter what you terrain you put this thing over.

Add in the flat free tires and you pretty much have no maintenance upkeep on it.

not sure if this helps, but do you guys have resale shops for baby stuff? people trade their used stuff for other stuff or sell it outright, then they mark it up varying amounts etc. usually clothes and furniture..but...one here has a ton of strollers.

We have a few here in town, the jogging stroller i have (which we use for the kid, not 3gunning yet!) was $49.95 out the door, the tires hold air and works good, it was just really dusty from everyone passing it over. another couple of years now she's in kindergarten..and it's a 3gunner cart!

other than yard sales you might try that. add up a few things from Walmart on clearance (little late now) but here they always run their ATV stuff like gun holders and stuff really cheap....
