XD-40 Shows Them Fancy Race Guns A Thing Or Two...
First off, my broken heart has been mended by the XD. I've been shooting Glocks for a number of years and had to finally give them up. A case of some serious slide bite and a developing flinch has finally taken it's toll.
Saying that, I had decided to switch to an XD-40 and put it through it's paces at a USPSA 3-Gun match today. In short, it worked flawlessly! Granted, we had only 23 shooters, but I placed 6th and much of that is owed to this fine little pistola. Although I feel that it should be in Production class rather than Limited 10, c'est la vie. There's something said for a stock gun placing above all them Open Class race guns.

Good job in the match. Just some info for your next match, the XD is allowed in Production Division in USPSA.
