Me, I like Speer Gold Dot. It gives me the confidence I need to come out on top, in case some dirty scum bag liberal tries to rob me.

In 9mm I've used American Eagle, PMC, PMP, Fiochi, and reloads in both 115 & 124. If the steel poppers aren't dropping with factory 115s, the poppers are not calibrated correctly.

I shoot Remington (UMC) 115 grain Wal-Mart. 5.97 a box of 50. This makes power factor at 130-133 everytime . Much softer shooting than the WWB ammo and i still get great cycle speed from my 4.5inch G17. I will try it and let you know When i get my xd9tac with the longer slide

Reloading is the only way to go. You can work up a load that gives what you want not some factory load that's too hot or too light.

That's what i do, the thread seemed to indicate most are buying factory ammo. I can see that for 9mm, not for 40's.

For Christmas, I asked my wife to get me a new Dillon press, so I can start reloading 9mm. It may take a while to get an ROI for the unit, however I can build ammo to my preference. That said, I will need to spend wth time with Rich, to learn how to reload.
