IDPA and extended mag release
I've been reading the IDPA rule book as I want to start shooting competitively.
In the rules on permitted modifications, it says that extended mag releases are ok (ESP Class) as long as they are not oversize in diameter and do not protrude more than .2" beyond the frame. How accurately do they measure that? My XD9 has the extended release button from Canyon Creek Custom, and when I measure it with a digital micrometer, it protrudes 0.212". |

Measured from where it goes into the frame. .212....my old dial-a-meter would most likely see that as .2. and my eyes would never be able to see the difference.
