An XD is in ESP unless it is in 45ACP at which time it can run in either ESP or CDP.

Production minor if you were shooting IPSC. I just tried my first IPSC. Awesome. Higher round count and faster.

yeah its total BS that the XD has to shoot in ESP or CDP and not SSP. If the glocks, MPs are allowed then the XD should be as well.....ok I'm done whining!

No, That's actually my point and the reason for this thread. I shoot a G34 in IPSC, but I just shot the XD in IDPA, where I typically shoot CDP with one of my 1911's, but was told that XD's are ESP and NOT SSP.

Isn't it rediculous? If I could shoot my XD in SSP I would be damn near expert! Somebody on here is expert with it in ESP on their first try

Bill Wilson (and I'm a Wilson Combat Fan) needs to open up the voting to it's members. There's no reason why an Glock, or M&P is in SSP and the XD is in ESP. Just not fare!!!!

Either way,,,I saw a guy with the Sig X-five been turned around becuase the gun was to heavy...., that was his only gun (Home defense/New Shooter/ recieve as a gift).

At the local matches we will have a box stage sometimes and a scale stage sometimes. Don't really care if it fits, or makes weight, thats up to the shooter if they want to shoot a major or actually play with in the rules. Technically, yeah they get DQed but were there to shoot. Now if their SSP is to heavy more than likely they will be dropped into ESP or something along those lines but thats about it.
