9mm reloads
I just bought a reloader. Does anyone have any good 9mm production loads to suggest.

First off, welcome to reloading. I just started a couple months ago and really enjoy it.
Get yourself a reloading book or two. You really need these so you can double check what people are telling you and so that you know where these loads fall on the scale of acceptable ranges. I have used Hodgdon TiteGroup and VihtaVuori N330 powders. Most people like the TiteGroup and it is highly recommended. It is also pretty cheap. It doesn't measure very consistently on my Lee Pro 1000 and I've gotten a couple of squibs (my fault for not monitoring the powder drops closer). I like the N330 because it measures better. It costs more but it is also cleaner. I have been reloading Rainier 147g 9mm Plated bullets for my XD9 Tactical. My Titegroup load is 3.4g. Would like to get down to 3.2 but I was putting a little extra in to compensate for measuring problems. My N330 load is 3.5g. If you can get the TiteGroup to meter well, I'd go with that. A great resource is http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php

Not if you are looking for a barely meets the 125 minor power factor floor load. A 147gr FMJ RN-ENC over 4.1gr of N340 at an OAL of 1.142" yields 141 PF through my XD9 Tactical. No complaints about accuracy or function, but most folks would like to be closer to 125 if they are rolling their own.

Most powder measures need a break in period and a very sturdy table with a consistant cycle to measure accuratly. Once I have all that done my lee pro throws great measures with clays and titegroup.
Anyways, my 1911 5" load is 3.0-3.1 titegroup, 1.150 OAL, 147 precision blacks, mixed brass. Its steel calibrated but I know its pretty close to the floor. I need to get a chrono. Everything being the same but going to a 147 zero and I use 3.3-3.4 of titegroup.
