Jeez...

So I decide to try a new trick to overcome my vision difficulties shooting. I just wear my contact in my non-dominant eye. This lets me see the front sight really really well with enough distance vision to get by.

Well this seems to work really well while I practice 30 min before the match. So they set up the course of fire and we do it.......

In the dark.

Really dark.

"Are there targets down there?" dark.

It was kinda fun to shoot but so much for trying to see if my theory works out. Ah well, I do it for the fun anyway. Really. No, I mean it.

Have you posted about your vision difficulties before? Is this just a cross dominance problem?

True enough, true enough.

Yeah, not cross dominant, just really bad vision with astigmatism and a surgery or two for retinopathy (damn diabetes )

Nope, actually pretty lucky so far. The eyes have been a problem and I have some radiculopathy in the toes of the right foot but kidney function is still great and other parts are still functional so not bad for 35 plus years of this junk.
