The good, bad and the ugly

GOOD: On one stage I had 28 Alpha and two Charlie. Ten of those were steel IIRC.

Bad: I was first shooter of the day on the most complicated stage. After finishing shooting the timer didn't stop. I got a reshoot, but was worried if I had enough ammo for the day then. I did, but that won't happen again. The silver lining was that I got to shoot it over with some improvement.

Ugly: Last stage of the day and I will end up with zero points. Course of fire was one shot in each of 8 targets, reload, one more shot in each. I do two shots in each for the first four targets. Realize my error...

This was the easiest stage!

I am sure I will finish last again now, but I didn't DQ and hopefully I did well on the other stages?

ARG!

One benefit of having a bad day............you don't have to seach hard to find your name on this list!
My performance today was also less (very much) than desirable. KOL had a good day though.
A bad day on the range is better than a just another day on the couch!

I still had a great time. I really tried to shot just A's today. Hopefully I did well on some of the stages?

Experience is a good teacher too.

We all have goofs! Just look at the other stages and see how you compare to the people in your division there. Winning doesn't really mean anything unless its a major match and you get prizes!

I did some extensive practising yesterday and learned a few things about my form. Like the above said, a bad day at the range beats a good day on the couch!

What was KOL shooting, his XD-9 or that new uber-gun he got?

Well look at it this way, you are a giver and you want other to look really good.

That's how I view my participation in USPSA...I'm a giver!

I was good at this. I don't expect to win (unless I am the only one in class), but I want to improve and be competent. I suppose not shooting the course of fire is not too competent!
