A month ago my strong (left) hand was injured at work. The injury was diaganosed as a inflammation of the ulnar reigon of the elbow that spread to the rest of the elbow and part of the left hand. This is just great. Bought a new XD45 Tactical, bunch of gear and a new progressive press to get back into IPSC.

Shot one match, with my carry gear and gun. Did pretty good for me. No procedurals and only a few mics. Now I am forbidden to shoot any gun games lefty.

So, I am going to dive into IPSC, and maybe speed steel with my weak hand. I'll be picking up a Uncle Mikes righty tupperware paddle holster for my race gun and get back into IPSC right handed.

This will be kind of weird. All my carry gear is lefty. So I'll be carrying concealed lefty and shooting gun games righty.

Damn the Torpedoes......Full Speed Ahead!!!

Good Luck with everything. Just think though, this will make you a better shooter in the end.

That's a bad break, but you've got a great attitude! I guess it's a growth experience and you WILL be more competitive as a result. ^5!

I am still thinking about doing the opposite: carry right-handed and shoot USPSA left-handed. I'm left-eye dominant and fairly ambidexterous, so I'm going to see if the natural body alignment from shooting left-handed makes any difference.
