IDPA holsters

I just started shooting IDPA this year and would like to hear from other XD shooters that compete. I am looking for a IDPA approved holster for the matches. Thank you any advice would be appreciated.

I've always used Comp-tac or Blade-tech with no complaints. I shoot Sigs though, not that it makes much of a difference.

I've been using a Blade-Tech for the past three years and really like it.

There is no approved list of holsters, anymore. So, you'll have to use your judgment. Most places will tell you if something is IDPA legal.

I use Ready Tactical holsters and mag carriers. Super stuff. Hard to find unless you happen to run in the AL-GA-MS-TN region. Basically the same stuff as blade tech, but you can get it either paddle or belt mount; IWB or OWB; green or black, normally; left or right handed; with two tension adjusting points and they are very fast holsters. $80 set (holster + 2 carriers).

I have always used the Blade-Tech holsters and they have served me well. I just recently got a Blade-Tech injection molded holster and it works just as well without the high cost.
