I imagine here pretty soon all the hoarders are going to cause a shortage on ammo.

When a lot of them already have thousands of rounds stacked in closets and garages from 4 years ago.

Guess I'll buy some .45 before it get's too crazy.

+1! Maybe the tinfoil will keep the unwarranted panic buying down and not ruin the market for all of us! Just but whatever you want. You don't need a silly excuse to buy a new gun or ammo

I'm more worried about the once golden state. This past year, Senator Leeland Yee of San Francisco tried to redefine and ban assault weapons with SB249. The new definition included ALL semi-auto rifles that included any one (not combination) of the following: muzzle brake, flash hider, pistol grip, detachable mag, and a few other criteria. That would include mini-14s, M1As, and even 10/22s. The new definition also included most semi-auto shotguns and too many semi-auto handguns. Pretty much all that would be left would be revolvers and manual action rifles. The bill included language that would make it illegal to own, not just purchase, anything defined within it, no grandfather clause and no "register it to keep it" clause, just sell out of state or surrender it.

Yee promised to reintroduce it after his colleagues were pressured to kill it. After Tuesday, California's legislature has a Dem supermajority and of course Gov. Moombeam, who, surprise surprise, has already stabbed gun owners in the back and signed several anti-gun bills into law.

Pray for California- we are the first state on the edge of the cliff to tyranny. If you live in CA, consider joining Gun Owners of California in addition to NRA - they were very instumental in keeping Cal gun owners informed and mobilized against this and other bills.
