One thing not often mentioned is supplies for your pets, they will also need food, water, medicine, etc. My dogs are like my kids and I'll be damned if I leave them unattended or not taken care of.

Don't have dogs. But I have two cats.....love them too but if SHTF they are on their own.

I've eaten food that America calls its pets - if SHTF you better hide Fido and Fluffy.

if it gets so bad that Maryanne, Ginger and the Skipper can't be fed with table scraps or get their own, then a bullet to the head would be a kindness. Ginger might make it on her own. The other 2 haven't a prayer.
