has anyone been to ready.gov to see their list of disaster preparedness items? it is missing two very important things; firearms and ammo. Um, I wonder if that was an oversight on their part?

I'm quite sure it was an over site. The gooberment is all for American citizens and their right to defend themselves. Heck the pres even wants a large non military force well equipped to help the citizens, should the need arise! It's all about the people. Just do as they say and all will be good!

see, they want you to have large amount of supplies and no guns so they can more easily confiscate the supplies "for the common good"

Some of it is actually helpful, for those who have no plan, but as mentioned the means to defend yourself is completely absent.
Of course we all know if we have a catastrophic event everyone will remain civil, and will not try to break into our homes to get our supplies.
If you believe that I have a nice waterfront lot on the moon for sale

Truth is like the finest dagger ever made;
The steel cannot be dulled, chipped or broken.
Its thrust is deep and causes agonizing pain.
Those struck with the dagger of truth
must come to terms with the wicked lies
within their heart and soul.
No matter where you run or hide, nor how deep you dig your foxhole...the big green weenie WILL find you.
