Inventory Software

Anyone have any leads on software to track foodstuffs and firearms? I know there was a company that was beta testing an answer, but they pulled it at the last minute (I was one of the testers).

I was thinking excel as well.
I made a spreadsheet including all our electronics, firearms, misc valuables, complete with SN and purchased price, and keep a copy in the safe deposit box.

I am also guessing that you want something more involved than a simple excel file.

Sure do, and best part, it is already available at no additional cost too. It's called the Department of Homeland Security. I'm sure they have a very detailed record of everything, you just have to ask them for the list...

for stock rotation, You might consider using a calendar program like with hotmail or gmail. for general inventory of non-consumables, excel works fine

google mentions quickbooks as a posible inventory tracking

Was looking for a more full featured solution (reports, inventory, ability to interface with a mobile app, multiple databases, etc.)

Anyone out there a programmer?

You could use Autocrib 5.3, or Cribmaster.....I used to use it at my last job for tracking inventory, when they sent a demo beta copy, I setup my kitchen and tracked food usage for 90 days......

It is a little pricy though......

Some things you can do with it....

Setup multiple databases, multiple cribs, track daily, monthly, yearly usages, add experation dates with notifications, lots of reports, automatic reorder, etc

And for even more money, you can integrate barcodes, and get a scanner, vending machine, or even a RFID portal........

Pm me for more info
