I've used para cord for years on my Herter's foam duck decoys. It is thick enough not to dig into the foam as much as thinner cord does and it doesn't tangle as easily. You can also braid it into an awesome call lanyard.

I always keep some in my truck and luckily have about 2/3 of a 1000' spool left for "other uses".

Hey! That paracord Bracelet is VERY easy to make! If I knew how to post photos, I'd show ya'.

REI has the 5/8 inch plastic clips for .75 cent if you're in a hurry!

It is also good for hanging pinatas.

Anybody have any advice for securing the 2 loose ends once you get through weaving... I know you cut it short and burn the ends, but can someone give me some more detail? I've made a bracelet and wanna make sure I do it right so I don't have to redo it...

Thanks

I cut the ends and heated up a flat blade screwdriver and press the cut end flat as it melts.

Thanks... Just finished my first one... Just used my thumb... Used something flat to do one of the strings, but if you use your thumb it contours to the area around the string and melts in alot more form fitting... About to post pics once they upload to photobucket...
