Probably the most visible feature of our holsters is our use of Kevlar stitching. Each of our holsters combines premium leather with custom molded kydex using a combination of rivets and kevlar thread. Kevlar stitching, which is so chemical resistant that it doesn't readily accept dye (hence its natural yellow color), allows for added strength and durability. It ensures that they kydex will never become "wavy" or separate from the leather between rivets. This contributes to a more consistent draw over the life of the holster and spreads the stress of long term wear over a greater area. The break strength of our Kevlar is over 100 pounds per stitch.
ACE stands for Always Combat Effective. Our holsters are names so because each one features leather and Kydex that enables a full obscured grip of the handgun PRIOR to drawing the weapon. The specific shape of the leather backer does not interfere with the magazine release, this enables the use of extended magazine releases without the fear of the button being depressed by the holster, and allows for one handed magazine changes by allowing the thumb to actuate the magazine release while the weapon is holstered.
