Stevens 320 or H&R Pardner Protector, Help me decide?

I am trying to decide between these two shotguns and ONLY these two! If you have experience good or bad with one or the other please share it with me.

I am not looking for "you should go with a Remington 870" or "you should get a Mossberg 500" I already have one (or more ) of each. I am looking for feedback specifically for the two shotguns in the title.

We had a cousin of one of our regulars show up to Turkey camp with an H&R Parndner Pump a few years ago. I handled and shot it and my assessment was that you get what you pay for. It's a Chinese made knock-off.

I have handled a 320 in a gun store. From handling it, it seemed nicer than the H&R.

From your two choices and not wanting to consider anything else I would take the 320. What is the intended purpose for this gun.

Yep, know this, have seen that the Stevens slide has problems with breaking the welds (on I think), the slide rails

So what would you say are the pros and cons of each? Their purpose looks to be the same or very similar ?

I have shot the H & R pardner and really liked it. It is heavier than a Remington 870. I have heard alot of good things about the H & R.

I love my H&R, i've got pics of it after the recent add-ons on here. It is a lil heavier than the 870, I have that as well. Great gun imo. I have yet to hold the other option.

Can't remember where, but a few months ago I read several reviews (Google) and all were very positive on the Pardner. I plan to purchase one myself very soon. How can you really go wrong for the price?

I read a comparison between an H&R Pardner and a Tristar and the Tristar won hands down. The H&R was supposedly nothing but problems. There are lemons in everything though.
I had a Stevens bolt action 20 ga light years or eons ago. It always functioned fine.

Sometimes I wonder about comparisons, especially ones where the other gun has a lot of problems. My H&R has been flawless.
